Which IPL player prevailed yesterday? The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) took place on May 14 at the Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi. Having won the toss, Lucknow elected to bowl first.

Top moments from DC versus LSG last night: The Capitals scored 208 in 20 overs thanks to half-centuries from Abishek Porel and Tristan Stubbs. A solid start was made by Shai Hope’s 38 off 27 balls and Porel’s 58 off 33 balls. Unbeaten Tristan Stubbs put up a strong performance, scoring 57 off 25 and hitting three fours and four maximums. Axar Patel was still not out at 14 points, while captain Rishabh Pant, who was suspended for the final IPL match, returned yesterday and hit 33 off 23 balls.

Regarding LSG’s innings, all the players were unable to influence the scores save for Nicholas Pooran and Arshad Khan. With six fours and four sixes, Pooran amassed 61 off just 27 balls. Arshad Khan, however, managed to hit 58 off just 33 balls. LSG scored only 189, missing out on 19 runs despite their tremendous efforts. Other players were unable to have an effect on the game, including captain KL Rahul and opener Quinton de Knock. De Knock was fired at twelve, and KL at five. Krunal Pandya was removed at the age of 18, Yudhvir Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, and Naveen-ul-Haq at the ages of 14, and 2, respectively. Marcus Stonis scored five off seven balls, while Ayush Badoni got six off nine balls. Ishant Sharma of DC claimed three wickets, while Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel, Mukesh Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, and Kuldeep Yadav each claimed one.

LSG is eliminated from the playoff race following yesterday’s game, while DC’s victory made it possible for the Rajasthan Royals to advance to the postseason. Along with the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi now have 14 points; however, their prospects of making the playoffs are dependent on a series of other outcomes.
