WWE’s Jey Uso acknowledges ‘nudging’ a fan during an interaction that sparked controversy on social media.

WWE wrestler Jey Uso discusses the viral moment where he shoved a fan out of the way during a live TV shoot. The incident occurred as Uso was making his way through Montreal’s Bell Centre with a cameraman for Monday Night Raw. Uso explains the situation, describing the move as a “little nudge,” and shares his perspective on the incident, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the authenticity of live shows.

WWE wrestler Jey Uso recently discussed an incident where he had to move a fan out of the way during a live TV broadcast, which subsequently went viral on social media. Viewers of the wrestling shows have noticed a new cinematic style, offering a behind-the-scenes look before the stars make their entrance into the arena. However, these extended shots mean wrestlers must navigate through excited fans and staircases before reaching their spotlight on time.

Jey Uso made headlines after encountering a fan who attempted to take a selfie in front of him while he was making his way through Montreal’s Bell Centre with a cameraman during Monday Night Raw. He gave the fan a gentle push to move him aside and continued without breaking his stride. This incident sparked discussions among fans on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit.

In an exclusive interview with The Mirror before WWE’s sold-out appearance at The O2, Uso shared his perspective on the incident, describing the action as a “little nudge.” He explained that the shot should have been straightforward, but the fan’s intrusion disrupted the process. However, Uso acknowledged that such moments add authenticity to the shows, citing a similar shot featuring fellow wrestler Sami Zayn interacting with fans as an example.

WWE’s recent UK tour followed the hugely successful two-night Wrestlemania XL and included sold-out events in Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, and London. The event at The O2 featured celebrity guests such as boxer Anthony Joshua, who met champion Cody Rhodes backstage, footballer Wayne Rooney, and Gladiator Apollo (real name Alex Gray), who showed support for wrestler Ricochet in a match against Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh.
