Who won yesterday’s IPL match? Top highlights of last night’s RR vs PBKS match

Which IPL team prevailed yesterday? On May 15, the Indian Premier League (IPL) saw a match between the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. RR chose to bat first against PBKS after winning the toss.

Top moments from RR vs. PBKS last night

In the 65th IPL game, the Rajasthan squad decided to bat first but was unable to display their charisma. In 20 overs, the team captained by Sanju Samson could only muster 144 runs. All of the players were unable to have an effect on the game except for Riyan Parag. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tom Kohler-Cadmore, the openers, only managed to score 4 and 18, respectively. Trent Boult at number twelve, Dhruv Jurel at zero, Rovman Powell at four, Donovan Ferreira at seven, and the captain at eighteen off fifteen balls. R Ashwin scored 28 off 19 balls, while Parag hit 48 off 34 balls with six fours. The bowlers for PBKS had a great game; Arshdeep Singh and Nathan Ellis each took one wicket, while Sam Curran, Rahul Chahar, and Harshal Patel took two wickets apiece.

PBKS had a bad start to the 145-run chase as they lost Prabhsimran Singh for just six runs in four balls. The main attraction was skipper Sam Curran, who scored a well-executed fifty runs off the Royals. With 63 runs off 41 balls—three sixes and five fours—Curran was still undefeated. In addition, Shashank Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Ashutosh Sharma, and Rilee Rossouw scored 22, 0, 22, and 17 points, respectively. With five wickets remaining, PBKS scored 145.

The Royals, on the other hand, suffered their fourth loss of the season, but they still finished second in the standings with 16 points and advanced to the postseason. Samson stated, “To be very honest, we have to sit back and accept that we are going through some failures,” at the post-match presentation ceremony. You need to determine what isn’t functioning well within the team. We need someone to put up their finger and declare, “I’m going to win the game for the team,” when things become serious.

However, despite finishing eighth in the tournament, PBKS captain Curran—who also won Player of the Match—spoke about the good things that came from it.

“I have really relished the season and being the captain. Curran, who won’t be playing in PBKS’ final league game, expressed his excitement about the World Cup and how frustrating it was to be leaving. “We can improve over the next several seasons, provided we can hold onto some of the very talented players. Many advantages. the pursuit of KKR. As Ashutosh (Sharma) in his first season, Shashank Singh has excelled. Arshdeep and Harshal have also performed admirably.
