    Updates on the England Hockey League 2024–2025 Season Teams

    England Hockey welcomes 16 new teams into the Men’s and Women’s England Hockey Leagues (EHL) for 2024–25 following a successful 2023–24 season. The England Hockey League 2024–2025 season promises thrilling matchups and intense competition as top teams vie for supremacy. Stay tuned for updates on teams, players, and fixtures to catch all the action on the field.

    The top 12 clubs fight to win the England Hockey League Premier Division title and earn a spot in the EuroHockey League for the upcoming season. The England Hockey League is the highest level of club hockey in England.

    Holcombe makes a year-long comeback to the Women’s Premier Division, while Sutton Coldfield makes their first appearance in the top division since 2015.

    Repton, the Conference Midlands winners, and Pendle Forest, the North winners, will compete in Division One North for the first time in women’s Division One. Conference East champions Guildford and the Division One South Bristol Firebrands, winners of Conference West, are both newbies at this level.

    The champions of the Area Leagues are the eight newcomers to the Conferences. Wapping (L) and Sevenoaks 2s (SE), West – Marlow (SC) and Lansdown (W), North – Alderley Edge (NW) and Whitley Bay & Tynemouth (YNE), Midlands – Loughborough Students 2 (M) and Cambridge University (E).

    Richmond is making its debut at this level in the Men’s Premier Division, while Bowdon is making their first return to the top division since 2012.

    Men’s Division One: Lindum, the North and Conference Midlands winners, will compete in Division One North after being promoted at the first opportunity. Indian Gymkhana, the founding members of the Division One South league, and Bristol University, which emerged victorious in Conference West following a year-long relegation, advance.

    The champions of the Area Leagues are the eight newcomers to the Conferences. East: West Herts (L) and Tunbridge Wells (SE), West: Reading 2s (SC) and Team Bath Buccaneers 2 (W), North: Didsbury Northern (NW) and Durham University 2s (YNE), Midlands: Repton (M) and Chelmsford (E).
